1. Collection, Storage and Usage of Personal Data
If you choose to use the services offered on this website, IAH needs you to specify a valid e-mail account in order to authorize your access. It also needs further personal data in order to verify that you are a member of the medical profession and owner of the e-mail account specified as well as in order to verify the successful completion of IAH’s online examinations.
After granting you a password, every time you access the website, information (Server Log Files) is automatically generated that is transmitted via your browser. This includes the browser type/version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (the site previously accessed), the host name of the accessing computer (IP address) and the time of the server request. This data is stored for statistical purposes. Personal user profiles that give information about your specific accessing patterns are not compiled. No inferences can be drawn from the statistics to you as a person.
Your personal data will be stored on the server of IAH where they are protected from tampering and access by third parties. Only employees of IAH and service providers bound by a contract for contracted data processing are authorized to process the data. The data is used to ensure optimal communication between you and the IAH. Your name, title and address may be forwarded to companies in your country affiliated or otherwise related to IAH in order to enable these companies to inform you about similar services such as educational services in your country or services in connection with IAH’s services.
